Welcome to Zenzero ZAI

Zenzero ZAI is an IT service desk platform that helps MSPs and IT teams automate routine tasks through workflows and provides quick access to information via a chat interface embedded in ConnectWise.

What is ZAI?

ZAI consists of two main components:

The Resourcing App - A web application where you manage employees, clients, and build automated workflows. This is where administrators create the workflows that automate repetitive IT tasks.

The ZAI Pod - A chat interface embedded as a pod within ConnectWise service tickets. Technicians can look up information, run workflows, and collaborate with colleagues - all without leaving the ticket.

Key Features

  • Slash Commands

Type /run to see workflows or /365 for M365 queries. Quick access without typing full commands.

  • Workflow Automation

Run pre-built workflows with approval cards, real-time progress updates, and automatic context from tickets.

  • Collaboration

Multiple technicians can view and work on the same ticket simultaneously. See who's typing and what workflows are running.

  • M365 Queries

List users, check licenses, view tenant details, and more - all from within the ticket.

How It Works

The Slash Menu

Type / in the chat to access commands:

Command What It Does
/run Browse and run workflows
/365 M365 queries (users, licenses, tenant info)

Running Workflows

  1. Type /run and select a workflow
  2. An approval card shows parameters - context is auto-filled from the ticket
  3. Fill in any required parameters and click Approve
  4. Watch real-time progress as each step executes
  5. Copy results (passwords, IDs) when complete

Collaboration

When multiple technicians open the same ticket:

  • Everyone sees the same chat history
  • Workflow executions are visible to all
  • Typing indicators show who's active
  • Coordinate to avoid duplicate work

Available Queries

The chat can look up:

  • Tickets - Look up by ID or search
  • Users - List M365 users in a tenant
  • Licenses - Check user licenses or view all available
  • Tenant info - Configuration, SharePoint quota, Defender status
  • Companies - Search by name
  • Products - Customer product information

Workflows

Workflows automate multi-step processes. Common examples:

  • User onboarding - Create user, assign license, add to groups
  • Password reset - Reset password with configurable options
  • User offboarding - Disable account, remove licenses
  • License management - Assign or remove specific licenses

Workflows are created in the Resourcing App and run from the chat.

Integrations

ZAI connects to:

  • Microsoft 365 - User and license management via CIPP
  • ConnectWise Manage - Ticket context and webhook triggers
  • Autotask - Alternative PSA platform support
